Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am-4pm, every week of the summer holidays for young artists aged 6yo+
Service Description
Throughout the summer holidays we are offering two days a week of our well known Summer Art School. Each week we will be looking at art and artists from a different country. You will be making high quality art pieces and having a great time in The Mercer ArtBox studio. There is now an option to enter for both a 'Discover' and 'Explore' Arts Award, if you attend over three sessions and commit to a small amount of self led project work, over the summer. Speak to Caroline for more information. 30th/31st July - JAPAN - Ink scroll, a paper and a clay crane 6th/7th August - INDIA - Batik based on Kathakali puppets, masks and dance 13th/14th - FRANCE - Observed food drawings and acrylic painting 20th/21st - HOLLAND - Delft ceramic tiles 27th/28th - NEW ZEALAND - Botanical Art collage and drawings
